Payment and Vehicle Release Policy
All moves booked with 24h Removals are subject to full payment upon completion of the job. For bookings scheduled at unsociable hours, including late-night and early-morning moves, drivers reserve the right to keep the vehicle closed and retain all loaded items until payment has been received and cleared in full.
Customers are required to settle the agreed fee before any goods are unloaded or handed over. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking. Any delay in payment may result in the vehicle remaining locked, and additional waiting charges may apply for the driver’s time on site.
24h Removals accepts no liability for delays caused by non-payment or disputes over the agreed fee at the point of delivery. By confirming a booking with 24h Removals, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this payment condition.
1-Man & Van Bookings
For 1-Man & Van bookings, the driver is provided to assist with the move but is not responsible for carrying out the entire loading or unloading process. Customers are expected to undertake their own move and provide sufficient assistance with loading and unloading. We cannot accept liability for damage to items where the customer has undertaken the handling or loading of those items.
Reporting Damage
If you believe any item has been damaged during the move, this must be reported to the office while the driver is still present at the collection or delivery address.
